Their Belize honeymoon was far from over! Melody and Dave had a breathtaking flight out of Municipal to San Pedro. They already knew the country was gorgeous inland, and now could see that it is equally gorgeous on the reef. Melody says, “In San Pedro, everyone greeted us with a warmth that I haven’t ever seen. And when we saw Victoria House we were so glad we decided to stay there. It reads ‘honeymoon’ all the way!”

The ten acre resort is located on the island of Ambergris Caye, just two miles from San Pedro. It boasts white sand beaches, tropical gardens, and coral reefs. Exactly what you want after a wedding and a jungle treck.

With only 42 rooms, the resort feels exclusive. Victoria House has an on-site restaurant and bar, as well as two pools, one a 70′ lap pool and the other with beach front views.

The newlyweds were thrilled with their room, and blown away by the soft, luxurious feel and the bright flowers placed throughout the suite. The first night they decided to stroll down the beach in search of a place for dinner and ended up at Caliente, “which was great!”
