<p>There were a few other couples on board with them, which Katie says, “made the trip a lot of fun.” The crew served up wine, cheese and some appetizers as they sailed past the Pitons, St. Lucia’s famous peaks. </p>
<p><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/realhoneymoons/4615209242/" title="Katie and Robert's Honeymoon in St. Lucia by realhoneymoons, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3392/4615209242_73f3204bd4_o.jpg" width="447" height="304" alt="Katie and Robert's Honeymoon in St. Lucia" /></a></p>
<p>After watching the beautiful sunset, Captain Glen let Robert take the wheel and steer the boat for a while. Looks like everyone had a blast.</p>
<p>A huge thank you to Katie and Robert for sharing their beautiful trip with us. And a very happy congrats to these two, who are celebrating their anniversary this month.</p>

<p>Yesterday I talked about how great the <a href="http://www.aruba.hyatt.com/hyatt/hotels/index.jsp" target="blank">Hyatt Regency Aruba&#8217;s</a> pool is for relaxing, but there&#8217;s also a ton more to do for honeymooners hoping to get up and go. </p>
<p><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/realhoneymoons/4513114620/" title="Hyatt Regency Aruba by realhoneymoons, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2757/4513114620_a35462e2fd_o.jpg" width="447" height="304" alt="Hyatt Regency Aruba" /></a></p>
<p>You can easily book excursions for diving, sailing and snorkeling trip with <a href="http://www.aruba-redsail.com/" target="blank">Red Sail Sports</a> at their right off the main lobby of the Hyatt. Their boats pick up guest at the end of the pier which means not having to rent a car or spend time in a taxi getting to a marina.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/realhoneymoons/4513115118/" title="Hyatt Regency Aruba by realhoneymoons, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4039/4513115118_0035d10d6d_o.jpg" width="447" height="304" alt="Hyatt Regency Aruba" /></a></p>
<p>The Hyatt has a bunch of on-site dining options. Palms Restaurant offers Latin-style cuisine, an open view of the kitchen and happy hour most days.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/realhoneymoons/4512471795/" title="Hyatt Regency Aruba by realhoneymoons, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2798/4512471795_08908b1975_o.jpg" width="447" height="304" alt="Hyatt Regency Aruba" /></a></p>
<p>With probably the most impressive setting, the Ruinas del Mar restaurant is a limestone building with open-air seating. It&#8217;s surrounded by the hotel&#8217;s man-made lagoon which means you can dine on the Spanish-influenced meals and watch chubby Koi fish swim by. They serve breakfast, dinner and Sunday brunch.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/realhoneymoons/4513114752/" title="Hyatt Regency Aruba by realhoneymoons, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2134/4513114752_e8a29f1f7a_o.jpg" width="447" height="304" alt="Hyatt Regency Aruba" /></a></p>
<p>And because everyone wants to be South Beach, the Hyatt has the outdoor Alfresco Bar, complete with beds draped in white and candles galore. Honeymooners will love the romantic vibe this place has at night.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/realhoneymoons/4513115326/" title="Hyatt Regency Aruba by realhoneymoons, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4005/4513115326_ac9ceb3573_o.jpg" width="447" height="304" alt="Hyatt Regency Aruba" /></a></p>
<p>Non-drinker or anyone looking for an afternoon pick-me-up can head to Kadushi Juice Bar, a short stroll from both the pool and the beachfront.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/realhoneymoons/4513114992/" title="Hyatt Regency Aruba by realhoneymoons, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2768/4513114992_ee5a19385f_o.jpg" width="447" height="304" alt="Hyatt Regency Aruba" /></a></p>
<p>And after a day of sailing and snorkeling, eating and drinking, couples will want to relax in the hotel&#8217;s Still Water Spa. A 50 minute couples massage with run you $100 per person.</p>

<p>The Finger Lakes region offers so much for mini-mooners and travelers who need some time to relax and unwind. 38-mile long Seneca Lake, the biggest of all the lakes, offers shores packed with activities. There&#8217;s obviously the wine we&#8217;ve been mentioning, but there&#8217;s also plenty of hiking, antiquing, <a href="http://www.sfhistoricalsociety.org/" target="blank">history</a>, boating and fishing to keep you busy, as another couple <a href="http://www.realhoneymoons.com/tag/mark-christi/">Mark &#038; Christi</a> discovered.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/realhoneymoons/4470280101/" title="Finger Lakes honeymoon ideas by realhoneymoons, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4009/4470280101_e72d51da7a_o.jpg" width="447" height="304" alt="Finger Lakes honeymoon ideas" /></a></p>
<p>Getting tired of wine? Check out the <a href="http://www.roosterfishbrewing.com" target="blank">Crooked Rooster Brewery</a> in Watkins Glen, at the southern tip of Seneca Lake. With eight varieties of their own beer, they’re a great alternative to the wineries. Their <a href="http://www.roosterfishbrewing.com/wildflower_cafe.php" target="blank">Wildflower Cafe</a> next door offers a great range of foods to suit burger lovers and vegetarians alike. </p>

<p>If you’re up for a sail, check out <a href="http://www.schoonerexcursions.com" target="blank">Schooner Excursions</a> which runs boating excursions from Watkins Glen June through October. Morning, afternoon and sunset sails are available and you can BYO favorite wines.</p>

<p>On the coast of Belize, Melody and Dave spent the day exploring San Pedro’s main part of town <a href="http://www.belizegateway.com/db_listings/Transportation/Bicycles.php" "target="blank">by bike</a> and then hung out under a thatch umbrella at <a href="www.victoria-house.com/" target="blank">Victoria House’s</a> beach.</p>
<p><a title="Untitled by realhoneymoons, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/realhoneymoons/4086884764/"><img class="alignleft" src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2740/4086884764_ce6b78fe1b_o.jpg" alt="" width="220" height="304" /></a>They arranged a sunset sailing trip with George, of the Rum Punch II. He picked them up at around in the late afternoon and set sail towards the North. Melody says, “It was a beautiful sight to see the sun setting behind San Pedro, and the sail was nice and relaxing. George was great! We approached the <a href="http://www.capricornresort.net/eating.php" "target="blank">Capricorn Restaurant</a> which was all lit up and had a very dreamy glow from the sea.” The couple nabbed a table right next to the beach, enjoyed a romantic dinner, and then sailed back to Victoria House with George.</p>

<p>We love their trip to Belize because it had a little bit of everything. Relaxation and luxury. Action and adventure. And of course, a whole lot of love and romance.</p>
