Phew! We’re back home and completely exhausted from our fantastic time with the fam. And though I’m beat, I’m also excited about two exciting weeks of upcoming posts.
With a month of real honeymoon trips under our belt, it’s time we tackle Hawaii. The 50th state is one of the most popular honeymoon destination for Americans — and with good reason. Palm tree sunsets, black sand beaches, tropical mountain hikes, active volcanos and the close proximity to the West Coast make the islands of Hawaii a no-brainer.
This is a place we’ll vicariously visit many times, I’m sure. Its many islands offer a huge range of activities and sights. You can rough it on the trails, chill out on the beach, or get pampered at world-class spas. Over the next 14 days, we’ll explore the Aloha State with three couples. First up: Brian & Leigh.
But that’s not all! I’m also excited to unveil our 2009 Gift Guide for honeymooners this week. Each afternoon this week I’ll post another selection of gifts that are perfect for any couple planning to take a post-wedding vacation in the New Year. And I was excited to discover this afternoon that the Frugal Traveler unleashed their list this week too. Stay tuned for a busy week!
